Stepping away from my ships models for November 11th, I bring you my latest work... The M4a1/W Sherman, iconic tank of WW2. Serving through out WW2 and beyond, the Sherman was one of the most widely produced tanks of the era. Seeing duty with the British in North-Africa thgouh the lend/lease program, and later with Russian forces as well as American, this tank spawned almost countless variants and modifications, including engineering and bridging vehicals, mine clearance types, and even amphibious variations! Standard armaments on early versions were set as 1x 75mm gun, 2 x .30cal. machineguns, and 1x .50cal. machinegun, but in combat the origional 75mm gun was found to be under-powered against german armour and so the Sherman went through several modifications to improve her main weapon, eventually recieving a high-velocity 76mm gun, and from the British, a 17 pounder anti-tank gun, amongst other improvements. The version i have depicted here is an early version M4a1/W which had a cast upperhull and turret, but a combination welded/riveted lower chasis. My details may not be completely accurate but i've tried as best i could to present a reasonably correct historical reproduction of the M4 as she appeared during her WW2 years.... (Please see included Readme for details!) Enjoy and happy Rendering!
As a side note... since this release corresponds with Rememberance day, November 11th as an extra feature i've included a 3d model rememberance poppy, in honour of all our fallen heroes, both past and future... my thanx to all of them for their sacrifices and my heart out to those who's family members gave the ultimate price for our futures.

As soon as I was old enough, I enlisted and served in an M1A1. But my heart goes back to my Grandfather and the crew of Baker-25.
Thank you.
Thank you very much for sharing
May I make a wish? Could You make a german SdKfz 250 or 251, the so called "iron coffin"? This was one of the most known armoured vehicles of WWII, but till now I didn't find any poser version of it!
Thank you very much *****
Great and generous, as always !
