In a thread on the DAZ forums someone asked for a pair of black, horn rimmed glasses...I started working on these when I saw that, but Joequick responded before I could.
So I put them off and finished them up tonight.
My daughter saw them and dubbed them 'Nerd glasses', so I decided, 'why not'...and made a piece of tape that is smart propped to them. They also make half way decent sunglasses or 3D glasses. So there is MAT pose file with dark lenses. The arms are articulated and open/close. They have limits set so they don't fold through the frame or open too far. They are sized to fit a default M4, should fit on V4 with not too much trouble. Other characters will probably need some extensive scaling/fitting.
For best results, adjust the Opacity and the Refraction (DS Surfaces tab)...the IOR for glass should be around 1.5 and with strength of around 100% on the lenses they do a very good 'coke bottle' lens effect.
