SEOUL, South Korea, May 21, 2014 — (PRNewswire) —  'KOBA 2014 – 24th Korea International Broadcast, Audio & Lighting Equipment Show' opened in COEX on Tuesday, the 20th.

This year, the size of the expo has increased by 12% compared to 2013, which includes UHD(Ultra High Definition), 4K and other Smart technology which is receiving attention not only as a broadcasting industry but also as a convergent technology, and OLED display, 4k, UHD digital TV, projectors, and other convergent contents made by 3D camera centering around the evolving future broadcasting innovative technology. Also, with the participation of national and foreign major companies the visitors get the chance to see high definition videos and advanced technology.

"International Broadcasting Technology Conference" held by Korea E & EX and KOBETA (Korea Broadcasting Engineering & Technicians Association) at COEX conference center during the expo is made up of 100 sections that will handle topics on main broadcasting equipment such as 4k, UHD, Smart Technology, Digital Radio, as well as broadcasting technology, policy, and broadcasting as a whole.
