MGEA Global Business Tour - Bridging Chinese and US Game Industry Players

BEIJING — (BUSINESS WIRE) — August 28, 2014 — Figures from an authoritative organization show that China’s games industry will see its market size reach $3 billion in 2014, only next to America's $3.2 billion. In a bid to drive the sound development of both countries’ game industry, the Mobile Game Entrepreneur Alliance (MGEA) and the Silicon Valley Technology Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum (SVIEF) will jointly present a global tour named TOPTOUR.

The TOPTOUR will consist of six parts, namely China-US Mobile Game Innovation Summit (CUMGIS), SVIEF, a business tour to prestigious companies in US, CUMGIS road show, China-US Elite Party & Mobile Game Night, and a cross-border business dinner.

As an essential part of the tour, CUMGIS is to open in Silicon Valley on September 27th, 2014. Under the theme of “Innovation and Cooperation,” the summit aims to build a platform for communication and business matchmaking for industry leaders and entrepreneurs of two countries. Meanwhile, the leaders will further discuss hot topics of the industry.

SVIEF is the largest and highest-level high-tech event in Silicon Valley. With the theme of "Global Vision of Innovation -- Cross-border and Inversion," it will invite distinguished industry leaders to deliver keynote speeches. Additionally, the organizers will also arrange the IT leadership dialogue for high-tech industry leaders to share their ideas and proposals for the IT industry and for business starting and innovation in Silicon Valley, and discuss trends of technology application and innovation.

Although the two countries have both been leaders in the game industry, they are distinctive for their respective cultural backgrounds. MGEA will organize a business tour for member enterprises to visit big players’ headquarters in the Internet and game industries in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

In addition, the delegation will visit the renowned film-television and animation companies in US. The delegates of MGEA will learn the leading and representative US business model in the film industry; meanwhile, they can communicate with famous producers and distributors to discuss the US IP copyright operating model and business cooperation.

At the same time, CUMGIS will present a road show of Chinese and US mobile game projects, in a bid to enhance communication and cooperation on the state-of-art technologies and products. MGEA and SVIEF will together evaluate and select qualified projects for the road show and give the excellent Innovative entrepreneurs a chance to show themselves. It will also enable the investors to know the projects and make the right decisions.

All attendees will be invited to join the Elite Party & Mobile Game Night held for industry leaders, innovative project managers and high-end businessmen.
