PLMIG announces price increases for 2015

Oxford, England. October 27, 2014 -- The PLMIG announces its price structure for 2015, with some significant increases on the current year.

Individual Membership will rise to €2495 / £1995 / $3250 (from €1095 / £895 / $1485 in 2014); and Corporate Membership will rise to €44950 / £35000 / $56590 (from €36000 / £30000 / $48000).

The increases reflect that fact that the PLM Interest Group has successfully completed its initiative to produce a neutral methology for quantifying the financial benefits of PLM.

Roger Tempest, Co-Founder of the PLMIG explains:- "The past 10 years have been something of an adventure for PLMIG members. The PLMIG has resolved some of the most intractable problems in PLM, but sometimes the development must have seemed like Brownian motion".

"As PLM is such a broad subject, the focus has moved from benchmarking to ALM to standardisation to the role of the PLM manager as a professional to self-assessment to product structure and, of course, ERP...  members have joined, not knowing which tools they would receive next; and have taken part in workshops, knowing that it could be six months to a year before the results would be ready."

"Now, everyone who joins receives the complete PLM Project Justification Handbook toolset for PLM financial justification, to produce detailed metrics that can be approved by the Board and measured for eventual success. Corporate Members have unlimited licensing rights, together with on-site education and training."

A discounted price is available for 2014-15 which saves €895 / £715 / $1235 on the combined price for the two years; but it is also a good option to join for 2014 only in the first instance. This provides the PLM Project Justification Handbook toolset that can be used now, to start the learning curve; and those who decide to renew for next year will receive a discount of 28% on the 2015 subscription.

More information about the PLM Project Justification Handbook and the other PLMIG toolsets is available on the PLMIG web site.
