May 9, 2016 -- Esri's new ArcGIS API 4 for JavaScript will give web application developers a lot to cheer about. This next-generation API lets them use just a few lines of code to build a user-friendly app and create 3D maps as easily as 2D maps.

To familiarize developers with the new API, Esri will host a free live training seminar, Discover the Next-Generation ArcGIS API 4 for JavaScript, on May 12, 2016. The presenters will discuss and demonstrate the functionality in the API that will help developers create 2D and 3D web maps faster and with less code than ever before.

After viewing the seminar, you will understand how to

  • Design and develop apps using ArcGIS API 4 for JavaScript with an understanding of the new object model, core components, and programming patterns.
  • Visualize data in 2D and 3D.
  • Take advantage of web maps, web scenes, and layer items to create visually beautiful web apps with minimal code.
  • Deploy responsive web apps that feature a great user experience.

JavaScript application developers, GIS managers and analysts, and others who want to bring GIS maps and capabilities to the web will find this live training seminar helpful.

You will need a broadband Internet connection and an Esri Account to watch the live training seminar. Creating an Esri Account is easy and free: visit esri.com/lts, click Login at the top right, and register your name and email address.
