The Bridgeport V480 and V710 machines features fast rapid rates, high axis and spindle acceleration/deceleration, and a powerful Mitsubishi control packed with many standard features. From job-shop type work to high production manufacturing the V480 and V710 machine simply outperforms the average machine in its class. With its heavy duty cast iron construction, 8278 lbs. machine weight for the V480 and 8613 lbs. for the V710, 10 HP/7.5Kw, 33 ft-lb/47Nm spindle torque, 20 station Swing Arm ATC, and manual pulse generator (MPG), makes this competitively priced machine best in class.

The Bridgeport V480 / V710 is ideal whether you are a job shop or OEM, the machine was designed with flexibility and throughput in mind. The Bridgeport V480 / V710 is a quick, small compact footprint yet rugged machine; developed for applications that require a rigid, fast and accurate set-up. A fully digital machine with a rapid traverse rate of 1,417 ipm X, Y and Z and acceleration rates of X : 6 m/sec² / Y: 4.6 m/sec² / Z: 3.75 m/sec² providing a fast and accurate response.

Standard machine features include a 10.4” color LCD, CT40 or BT40 Big Plus spindle, 10,000 RPM direct-coupled greased spindle, circular flushing ring, coolant chip flush system, 3 color stack light, 20 tool ATC, and many others. The machines are offered with a Mitsubishi M70V type A control. Navi-Mill and embedded Ethernet are also standard.

Some of the popular available options include 12,000 and 15,000 RPM spindles, CTS-Deublin rotary union, through-spindle coolant, 280 PSI, air blast, chip conveyors, spindle chiller and 4th axis prewiring.
