SANTA FE, N.M., Jan. 17, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- All FLOW-3D and FLOW-3D CAST users—and anyone interested in the FLOW-3D product suite—are invited to attend the conference. Engineers, researchers and scientists from some of Europe's most renowned companies and institutions will gather to hone their simulation skills, explore new modeling approaches and learn about the latest software developments.

The call for abstracts is now open. FLOW-3D users are encouraged to share their experiences, present their success stories, case studies and validations, and obtain valuable feedback from their peers and Flow Science staff. Topics include but are not limited to: metal casting, additive manufacturing, civil & municipal hydraulics, micro/nano/bio fluidics, aerospace and automotive applications. The deadline to submit an abstract is Friday, April 19.

"Our annual conference in Europe provides the ultimate platform for collaborative learning among CFD practitioners. It allows our customers to stay abreast of the latest FLOW-3D developments and provide us with direct feedback so that we can continue to develop based on industry needs. The stellar level of our presenters lets us see how our most advanced users incorporate FLOW-3D into their research and design to solve the toughest CFD problems in the world," commented Dr. Amir Isfahani, CEO of Flow Science.

An advanced training dedicated to workflow automation and optimization will be offered on June 3. FLOW-3D and FLOW-3D CAST have built-in options for workflow automation; a modular text-driven structure that allows for easy scripting; and with the new FLOW-3D Design Explorer, the ability to easily and graphically set up complex workflows including DOEs and full multi-parameter, multi-objective optimization studies. This advanced training will review the features that can save time and money through automation and optimization.

Last year's conference included speakers from Pöyry Energy GmbH, Roche Diagnostics GmbH, ArianeGroup GmbH, Mott MacDonald, EDF-CIH, Österreichisches Gießerei-Institut, JBA Consulting and Endurance Overseas.

Online registration for the conference is now available.
