Speedernet will be showcasing the fast track to creating WebVR immersive experiences at Solidworks World 2019 with Speedernet Sphere.

Attendees can expect a demonstration of how to quickly and simply create web diffused 360°/VR experiences using Speedernet Sphere and SOLIDWORKS software.

The 21st annual SOLIDWORKS World – February 10-13, 2019 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison
Convention Center, Dallas, Texas, USA.

Speedernet is specialised in developing innovative training based solutions for large corporations. Speedernet Sphere is an innovative 360°/VR solution offering an accessible and simple approach that allows businesses to easily create 360°/VR and then visualize their creations directly on the web. Total, Airbus, Air France, L’Oreal, Sanofi, Danone, Saint Gobain are just some of the major corporations already using Speedernet Sphere to create web VR experiences.

Speedernet Sphere is specifically designed for professionals who need to produce interactive 360°/VR experiences. Its visual, intuitive interface allows businesses to compose their creations in drag-and-drop fashion without writing code.

As a Solidworks Research Associate, Speedernet Sphere natively integrates 3D files (glTF) from Solidworks new XR Exporter. The results can be viewed in a Web browser on multi/All devices (VR headsets, smartphones, tablets, laptops).

Speedernet Sphere targets larger companies looking to insource the creation of 360°/VR content. Design and engineering companies are among the early adopters of this technology. This is a major leap in innovation for prototyping and 3D design handling in VR through an Internet browser and a headset. Businesses can easily use their CAD data to create rich and interactive VR experiences on the web.

As a SOLIDWORKS customer, IFPEN was (and still is) one of the first partners of Speedernet Sphere:

“The integration of the Speedernet solution with SOLIDWORKS has allowed us to develop our use of VR for different purposes in a very simple way. Indeed, all the 3D work already done in SOLIDWORKS during the designing phase can be directly used to build an interactive experience into Speedernet Sphere. In addition, thanks to the great ergonomy of their software the experience can be conceived in a week by the CAD designer. That is why, in less than a year, we have designed several VR experiences allowing us to present products at congresses and conferences, to train people on complex systems and to work on the ergonomics of labs. All of this with small team and small budget. In my opinion, this is where Speedernet has disrupted the VR market !”, said Julien TROST, Research Engineer at IFP Energies Nouvelles .
