PCI Geomatics Releases New Features for Geomatica Banff

MARKHAM, Ontario, Canada - June 09, 2020 PCI Geomatics announced today the release of over 30 new capabilities and enhancements for Geomatica Banff, the company’s flagship photogrammetry and remote sensing software.

Highlights, capabilities and enhancements include:

  1. A complete end-to-end workflow for UAV imagery, with self-camera calibration
  2. Our implementation of the random forest machine learning classifier, named Random Trees, for object-based classification and feature extraction
  3. Support for the Linux CentOS 8 distribution

Geomatica Banff is available for 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows (10, 8.x, 7) and Linux CentOS/RHEL (8.x, 7.x).
