“The London ExCeL was packed full of start-ups, established industry names, innovators and experts all keen to share recent developments in the geospatial technology realm.”

“Tech everywhere!”

The bustling show floor featured over 100 leading companies, start-ups, industry bodies and organisations at the forefront of geospatial.

Attendees had the opportunity to experience live demonstrations of state-of-the-art technologies, including remote sensing, GIS software, drone mapping, LiDAR, and augmented reality.

This immersive exhibition unveiled the next generation of geospatial solutions, providing a glimpse into how these advancements are reshaping industries and revolutionising data-driven decision-making.

“It was mind blowing”

The show didn’t just result in happy attendees, but exhibitors too. Many were thrilled with the result of the show and praised the quality of visitors and strong leads over the two days.

“It was a delight to connect with industry experts, learn new things, and expand our network,” says Slovenian company Flai, a cloud-based AI platform provider.

First time exhibitors Location Data Scotland were also thrilled with their experience, saying: “We are heading back to Scotland with lots of new contacts. Thanks to GEO Business for inviting us and for building such an excellent Scottish Innovation Village!”

David Price, Managing Director at GeoMax, was happy with the footfall on their stand, saying: “The quality [of visitors] has been good. We've done deals and taken orders on our stand from clients that have gone from enquiry to sale during the course of a few hours.

He continues, “from a brand building and visibility point of view, I think we have to be [at GEO Business]. There's no doubt about that.”

“Dynamic setup creates excellent opportunities”

The CPD-accredited education programme at GEO Business was hosted across six stages. Over 120 carefully curated talks, workshops and demos were presented by expert speakers from across the profession.

Topics covered a range of different applications for geospatial, including the built environment, infrastructure, transport, utilities and energy, surveying, mapping, and land and natural resource management.â¯

Speakers from 1Spatial, Arup, Atkins, Hexagon, Jacobs, Ordnance Survey, Geospatial Commission, Topcon and Wood PLC were just a few examples of big names in geospatial who were part of the line-up.

Asset Information Coordinator at Skanska, Sakshi Kosta, comments on speaking at the show: “It was such a privilege to present my ideas at the GEO Business event.

“It was a great experience to learn, inspire and spark conversations about my chosen subject while sharing insights.”
