Lexington, Kentucky USA, April 17, 2006 -- ArchVision, Inc. today announced the availability of its newest publishing tool, the ArchVision Discovery Viewer. The Discovery Viewer provides users with the ability to publish and view native 3d SketchUp models (.skp) in Microsoft Office products. The Discovery Viewer [Desktop] provides users with a simple, intuitive interface for publishing SketchUp models in applications such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Word as well as an HTML generator for easily publishing web pages containing the model(s) to be viewed with Internet Explorer. The Discovery Viewer [Server] product provides users with the desktop product as well as a license for serving the models from a web server. Users can install a free Discovery Viewer for viewing presentations and web pages on any computer.

“The Discovery Viewer lets non-technical users leverage the 3d models being created using SketchUp in new and exciting ways”, says Randall Stevens, President and CEO of ArchVision. “From management and marketing teams using PowerPoint to win new projects to clients viewing updates on a project website, the Discovery Viewer extends the value of creating 3d models using SketchUp. This is an exciting product release for ArchVision as we continue to expand our core platform tools to support 3d formats other than RPC. We’ve enjoyed great support from the @Last/Google development team as we worked on integrating support for their content.”
