Avnera Standardizes On Magma Implementation Flow -- Cites Fast Design Completion

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 29, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Magma(r) Design Automation Inc. (Nasdaq:LAVA), a provider of chip design software, today announced that Avnera Corporation standardized on Magma's implementation software for development of its AvneraAudio(tm) integrated circuits and modules. Avnera, a fabless semiconductor company developing breakthrough technology for wired-quality wireless audio, selected the Magma system for its ability to shorten total turnaround time and get finished chip designs to market faster.
