GeoFields to Showcase DataFrame(TM) Data Maintenance, DataFrame(TM) ASG and RiskFrame(R) Modeler at ESRI Petroleum User Group Conference

HOUSTON, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Feb 23, 2009 -- GeoFields, Inc., a global leader in data management solutions for the pipeline industry, today announced demonstrations of pipeline data maintenance, automated alignment sheet generation and risk modeling applications at the ESRI Petroleum User Group (PUG) Conference. GeoFields will showcase upcoming releases of DataFrame™ Data Maintenance, DataFrame™ ASG and RiskFrame® Modeler in the GeoFields booth #309, February 23-24, 2009, at the Marriott Westchase Hotel in Houston, Texas.

"GeoFields is pleased to have the opportunity to showcase several of our latest applications to the focused GIS audience," said Keith Chambless, executive vice president at GeoFields. "By continuing to upgrade existing implementations with the latest GeoFields software, customers can continue to improve pipeline data workflows, thereby improving return on their GIS investment."

The DataFrame Data Maintenance demonstration will highlight new functionality of our advanced pipeline data maintenance application. It offers advanced editing and management of pipeline data coupled with the versatility and familiarity of ArcMap. Attendees will view streamlined workflows for common data maintenance tasks including pipeline creation, location refinement, calibration, reroutes, splits, replacements, retirements and management of pipeline features.

With DataFrame ASG, cutting-edge alignment sheet generation will be on display with new features including a column chart band, enhanced event filtering using SQL commands, simplified labeling tools, ESRI online services and user-defined controls to provide optimal data display. The latest innovations in DataFrame ASG coupled with its unparalleled flexibility for template design help maintain its best-in-class status in pipeline sheet generation.

In the RiskFrame Modeler demonstration, attendees will be shown step-by-step construction of formula-based qualitative and semi-quantitative risk models. New application enhancements include the ability to see risk rankings visually in the map interface, allowing operators to more efficiently prioritize and focus on areas having the highest risk.

In addition to the product demonstrations, Scot Twining, product manager at GeoFields, will address attendees in a pipeline session entitled "Pipeline Construction Data Management - Establishing Foundations for an Asset Database." During the presentation, Mr. Twining will focus on centralizing data management activities of pipeline construction projects, including collection, management, and conversion of project data into asset database. The presentation will take place Tuesday, February 24 at 2:30 p.m. in the Richmond Room at the Marriott Westchase Hotel.
