Opens office in Malaysia for servicing its existing customers and new business development for our UTG vertical

Hyderabad -- 16, December 2009 - Infotech Enterprises Limited (IEL), a global technology solutions provider, announced that it has opened up an office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to address the South East Asian Markets. This new office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia will meet the needs of Infotech’s existing customers and provide a platform for new business development for its UTG (Utilities, Telecommunications and Government) vertical in the South East Asian Region.

Referring to this, Mr. B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director, Infotech Enterprises Limited, said, “The opening of the office in Malaysia marks the expansion of our footprint in the region and is in keeping with our overall strategy for growth and establishing our presence in the emerging markets. Infotech has already established a strong presence in the South East Asian market by securing a large multi-year / multi-million dollar GIS implementation project from Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). TNB is the largest electricity utility company in Malaysia serving over 7 million customers. In addition, Infotech is also implementing another prestigious project for a telecom company in Singapore. With a local presence in this market, Infotech will be able to further consolidate its position in the region.
