- Firefly Cinema’s solution designed to simplify and automate dailies management -
Paris, France – 5 September 2012 - Firefly Cinema, the specialist developer of digital cinema software tools, is proud to announce that Panavision France has adopted FireShoot as its on-set digital dailies solution.
FireShoot is a software solution designed with a simple specification: to automate as much as possible of the on-set dailies management process. FireShoot enables colour-grading decisions to be taken next to the camera during the filming of the shot rather than several hours later in a truck; encoding and sound syncing are automatic tosave the technician wasting time in front of the computer; and copies are made automatically. However, the system also allows each element to be controlled manually if required.
FireShoot is also highly scalable, so that the director can order multiple shoots at the same time, with multiple FireShoots simultaneously importing shots on the same NAS and sharing the same database.
