Largest Security-Related GIS Event to Take Place July 6-9 in San Diego, California

REDLANDS, Calif., June 25, 2013 — (PRNewswire) —  The Esri National Security Summit, formerly called the Esri Homeland Security Summit, will provide attendees with outstanding speakers, technology demonstrations, and networking opportunities centered on meeting complex mission demands. The largest geospatial gathering of its kind, the summit allows people to learn about new initiatives and innovations that will impact the way the public safety community works and collaborates. The summit will be held July 6–9 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in San Diego, California.

"We renamed our annual conference the National Security Summit to reflect new priorities and the increased need for greater interagency collaboration," said Paul Christin, homeland/national security industry manager, Esri. "Senior leaders within defense, intelligence, public safety, and emergency management will be sharing their knowledge and experience. Attendees will discover proven best practices and intuitive solutions for every level of the organization."

Technology innovations will be on display that show how to increase internal and interagency collaboration; deploy a faster, more efficient real-time response; provide better information—visualized on a map—that everyone can use to improve decision making at all levels; and much more. Attendees will see firsthand how to employ critical capabilities for every workflow. Attendees also gain access to the first two days of the Esri International User Conference.
