MAXON Showcases CINEMA 4D Toolset at Leading Animation, VFX and Game Industry Events Throughout November

NEWBURY PARK, Calif. – October 30, 2013 – During the month of November MAXON, the leading developer of professional 3D modeling, painting, animation and rendering solutions, will be participating at industry events in North America that offer artists and developers opportunities to learn about its powerful 3D software solutions -- CINEMA 4D, CINEWARE and BodyPaint 3D -- revered for spectacular image quality and an intuitive, easy-to-use interface that puts professional results within reach of artists at all levels of CGI experience.

World Animation & VFX Summit

Now in its second year, the World Animation & VFX Summit connects studio executives, producers, agents, distributors with high-level animation and visual effects professionals for three days of panels, screenings and networking.

Session Highlight: “The Artist’s Way: How Technology Delivers The Creative Solution”
Date/Time: Monday, November 4, 3:15-4:15 p.m.

Tom McLean, Animation Magazine contributing editor, will moderate a panel that explores VFX creativity and imagination and the technological tools that support one’s creative vision. Stephen Lawes, co-founder and creative director at Cantina Creative, a design and visual effects studio located in Culver City, Calif., will join a panel of leading digital artists and reveal their favorite tools to get the best artistic results. Under Lawes’ direction, the studio has relied on CINEMA 4D to generate VFX on numerous high profile feature film and commercial projects including Iron Man 3, Iron Man 2 and Marvel’s The Avengers.

GDC Next and MIGS

MAXON will be exhibiting at two premier game industry events -- the Game Developers Conference Next (GDC Next) and the Montreal International Games Summit (MIGS). The Game Developers Conference Next (November 5 – 6), is the debut event geared to developers interested in “…creating the game experiences of the future, including how we will play games, on what we will play them, and how we will monetize, distribute, market, and share them.” The Montreal International Game Summit (November 11 –12), now in its 10th year, is the leading video game trade show in Quebec that promotes the exchange of information and expertise with more than 60 conference sessions, world renown speakers, networking and more.

Game developers and digital artists eager to learn how they can easily incorporate 3D models, animation and environments into their game development pipeline, are invited to stop by the MAXON booths at both events for demos, tips and practical techniques highlighting the creative flexibility to generate complex game assets and learn more about the seamless connectivity between CINEMA 4D and BodyPaint 3D with many of today’s leading game development platforms including Unity 3D.

Content & Communications World (C&CW)

Content & Communications World is the premier conference and exhibition that brings together media and entertainment production, post and distribution professionals.
