OBJE Targets New Games, Partners at Major Gaming Expos

SARASOTA, Fla. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — February 24, 2014 — As OBJ Enterprises (OTCBB: OBJE) works to build out an impressive roster of games and development partners for its Novalon Games brand, company representatives are preparing to participate in two of North America’s largest gaming expos in the coming weeks.

First up will be the SXSW Gaming Expo in Austin, Texas, on the second weekend of March. Part of the massive youth-culture-oriented SXSW festival, SXSW Gaming will bring together hot creators and top innovators in the gaming world for a weekend of panels, demonstrations and more—a prime networking and development opportunity for OBJE executives.

An even larger and more important gathering, the Game Developers Conference, will be held March 17-21 in San Francisco. This market defining conference features over 400 lectures, panels, tutorials and round-table discussions on a comprehensive selection of game development topics taught by leading industry experts. Additionally, the GDC expo showcases all of the newest advances in game development tools, platforms and services, helping to drive the industry forward.

The conference also features the sixteenth annual Independent Games Festival, the longest-running and largest festival relating to independent games worldwide, where original games compete for the attention of the publishing community. This will be an especially intriguing opportunity for OBJE as the company works to deliver a one-stop online platform for indie game development.

“To accomplish our growth goals for the year, there will be no better place to be in the world than at these two expositions,” said OBJE CEO Paul Watson. “We look forward to potentially adding some of the world’s top creative talent and game concepts to our team.”

OBJE is already partnering with fledgling gaming studios to release hot new titles for smartphones and tablets. The company earned its first revenues last year by releasing new games including  Phantasmic and  Bluff Wars and  Creature Tavern, with many more new releases penciled in for the new year.

Through its gaming division, Obscene Interactive, OBJE is working to deliver innovative and engaging gaming products for the Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) App Store and Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) Play market alongside companies such as Glu Mobile Inc. (NASDAQ: GLUU) and The9 Limited (NASDAQ: NCTY).
