Enter the Steiner Tractor Parts' Annual Photo Contest

LENNON, Mich., May 30, 2014 — (PRNewswire) —

LENNON, Mich., May 30, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Anyone restoring a piece of equipment appreciates the beautiful transformation on display in before and after pictures from a rusty, neglected piece of farm equipment to a shining show tractor.  Steiner Tractor Parts, a leading supplier of New Parts for Old Tractors, rewards antique tractor enthusiasts' restoration efforts on a worldwide stage in print and on the Internet with prizes, recognition and bragging rights to the winners of the photo contest.

The company invites anyone with a digital camera and a passion for farm tractors to enter the contest now through June 10th.   Entries do not have to be from customers of Steiner Tractor Parts, but the images should represent American-made tractors for which Steiner sells parts such as John Deere, Farmall, Allis Chalmers, Ford and many others.  This is the fifth year for the photo contest and every year the number of participants and images increases. Winners for the following categories will be selected for the top prizes:  Best Single Brand, Best Multiple Brand, Best Photoshop Effects

Suzette Thomas, Digital Media Specialist at Steiner Tractor Parts is directing the contest this year. While discussing the new format and entry options Suzette Thomas says, "This year I am really excited about our new category of "Photoshop effects". The addition of the "Photoshop effect" category seemed like a natural step as many users showed interest in submitting photos with their unique style added. We also added the ability to submit a photo from Instagram. Instagram is the latest addition to our social media lineup.  We are sure the ease of snapping a picture and posting it will appeal to our audience.  Instagram, a strong visual media channel, is a must for our old iron enthusiasts who love to share their tractor restorations."

The top prize winners receive their choice of a $300 gift card to SteinerTractor.com or to Shutterfly.  You can see full details about the contest at:  www.SteinerTractor.com/Catalog-Photo-Contest or on the Steiner Tractor Parts facebook page.  "Every picture tells a story of commitment to our agricultural heritage and a willingness to work tirelessly in a labor of love of old iron to complete a restoration project.  My hope is that our quality parts allow our customers to bring a rusty tractor back to life and encourage our customers to reconnect with some moment from their past.  Helping our customers to link their current project to their past memory is what makes our business so fun and fulfilling," explains Steiner Tractor Parts' President Dan SteinerDan Steiner leads the team choosing the final winners for prizes and placement in the 2015 Steiner Tractor Parts free catalog.  In addition to the 3 major category prizes, other entrants may be selected for use in print materials, or digitally and be awarded a $25 gift card in recognition.

Complete contest rules are available on the Steiner Tractor Parts website. Entries must be received by June 10th
