HAWK AERIAL RECEIVES FAA EXEMPTION FOR COMMERCIAL UAS OPERATIONS

LOS ANGELES, April 14, 2015 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Hawk Aerial, LLC, has been granted an exemption from the Federal Aviation Administration to conduct commercial UAS operations.

The FAA exemption grants Hawk Aerial permission to commercially operate both rotorcraft and fixed-winged unmanned aircraft systems. "We are thrilled to be able to offer our clients the flexibility of choice between our four aerial platforms," says Kevin Gould, founder of Hawk Aerial. Hawk Aerial operates the following UAS systems;

- Service-drone Multirotor Eagle V2

- Altavian Nova R8400

- Altavian Nova F6500

- DJI Phantom 2

He has served as president of Bendix/King Avionics, CEO of Piper Aircraft, and has held several executive positions at Boeing. He holds a Masters of Science from Stanford University, a JD from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Harvard.
