Yamada America Inc. Launches Pump Configurator for Their Brazilian Customers

San Jose, CA, June 16, 2015. CDS ( Catalog Data Solutions), a leading provider of Industrial B2B eCommerce solutions that help industrial suppliers to get their products found, designed-in, and purchased, today announced that its Configurator as a Service solution has been implemented by Yamada America for their Brazilian customers.

Yamada America ( http://www.bombasyamada.br.com/), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Yamada Corporation, provides service and support for its complete line of air-powered double diaphragm pumps for the North, Central, and South American markets through a network of highly-trained distributors. Yamada America recently launched CDS technology to provide a Portuguese language Pump Configurator for their loyal customers and distributors. The Pump Configurator functions as a Pump Selector with a built in auto-complete chemical compatibility guide.  In addition to a modern user experience the Pump Configurator enables users to compare up to six selected pumps and request items for quote.

“The internet has changed industrial product sourcing – our customers usually research products online before they even call a potential supplier. We are delighted to have now launched our new pump configurator which allows customers to filter, select, and compare pumps so they can easily find the right solution”, said Matt Mulligan, National Accounts & OEM Sales Manager, of Yamada America “We evaluated several vendors and chose the CDS Configurator  because it is proven in the market, specifically designed for industrial suppliers, customizable, extremely user friendly, up-to-date technically, and so very easy to integrate into our website.”

“We’re delighted to support Yamada America said John Major, CEO CDS. “As product selection and buying continues to change and evolve, sales and marketing organizations need to continually come up with ways to get in front of the selection and buying cycle. Yamada America is now right up-to-date and doing that via an online product configurator that ensures their products are found and remain in contention.”

CDS helps grow industrial B2B e-Commerce sales and strengthens customer loyalty for its clients through interactive online product catalogs, configurators, ecommerce, 3D CAD & BIM model solutions that drive SEO.
