LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6, 2016 — (PRNewswire) —

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Matter and Form, Inc. today announced that it has launched Bevel, the world's first attachment capable of capturing Genuine 3D™ photographs on any smartphone or tablet, at CES. Other attachments create the illusion of 3D by enhancing the depth of an image, but fail to capture a file that you can actually use. Bevel uses an eye safe laser light, and the existing camera on your Android or IOS device, to take photographs in a whole new dimension.

"Bevel marks the next step in the company's vision, to help creative people take their imaginations as far as they can go with 3D technology," said Drew Cox, CEO and Founder.  "We created a product that uses your smartphone to take photos in a whole new way, in 3D. In order for disruptive technology to gain acceptance, it must be seamless and easy to use - which was the primary goal when creating the Bevel. When it comes to communicating visually, photos and video are great. But the problem is we don't live in a flat, two-dimensional world. It's not our native dimension. When we communicate with ordinary photos, we're never really telling the whole story because the fact is, a 2D photograph just isn't the whole picture."

Bevel works by simply plugging it into the headphone jack of your smartphone or tablet, and then panning the person place or thing, just like a regular photograph. With the Bevel app you can do everything you do with ordinary photos. Post your 3D pictures on Facebook, Instagram, tumblr, Twitter or any social network. Use the Bevel app to share directly to friends or upload and share 3D photos online with a link. Save them and even use them for animation, video game design and 3D printing.

Bevel's features include:

"3D photography is set to revolutionize the way we capture our experiences and share them across social networks. We made the Bevel intuitive to use on any device, easy to learn and affordable for any user. And of course, all in a beautiful package," said Cox.

Bevel is available for pre-sale for $79.99 and will be available for retail purchase in early 2016. It is available in white and black. To pre-order Bevel, visit: https://matterandform.net/store.
