Mitchell County North Carolina Tax Office Selects MobileAssessor Mobile App for Field Appraisers

Sep 15, 2016 -- CourthouseUSA, a leading provider of mobile applications for the assessment and real estate communities announces Mitchell County, NC has accepted CourthouseUSA’s proposal to adopt MobileAssessor created by Data Cloud Solutions.

The Mitchell County Tax Assessor’s Office, located in western North Carolina, is responsible for listing, appraising, and assessing both real and personal property in accordance with North Carolina laws. The county has approximately 15,000 parcels and is currently using the ProVal CAMA system from Thomson Reuters.

MobileAssessor, a mobile app for field appraisers, will allow Mitchell County appraisers to review, edit, and collect CAMA data while in the field. The optimized workflow of MobileAssessor will help appraisers be even more efficient by creating and tracking work assignments and optimizing driving routes.
