Spaces Filling Fast On UK Leg of European Tour Presenting Latest REALVIZ Applications, StoryViz & MatchMover MoCap

Sophia Antipolis, France (November 8, 2004) - REALVIZ, a leader in image processing software development, has confirmed that the UK leg of their European 'SFX Tour' will take place on 16/17/18. November 2004. During the tour, the REALVIZ team will be demonstrating the MatchMover MoCap Module & StoryViz 1.0, the very latest additions to the award-winning REALVIZ software portfolio.

The presentations, which will take place in and around central London are also the ideal opportunity for REALVIZ to introduce the new Sales Team for the EMEA region to the UK SFX community, including new EMEA Sales Manager, Francois Belot, and Sebastien Euillet, who recently also joined the Company as Senior Product Specialist, EMEA. UK-based Sebastien joins REALVIZ from Matrox, where he also worked as Senior Product Specialist on their video editing product range.

The MoCap (Motion Capture) Module is the first of a new range of modules, designed to complement REALVIZ' tracking software, MatchMover Pro 3.0. The MoCap module offers users the unique capability to perform motion capture from synchronized image sequences with total flexibility. It can deal with any number of image sequences, from any number of cameras, fixed or mobile, to capture any combination of mobile objects, rigid or non-rigid. The MoCap Module will be available from November 2004.

REALVIZ StoryViz 1.0 is an all-new application making the link between storyboards and actual film production, by simulating the shooting phase and by pre-editing the final shots, all in real time 3D with an image quality previously unobtainable. The software is the result of years of development efforts at the famous Duran Duboi Studios in Paris, and has already been extensively used on a number of major movies, including the recent 'Immortel' from Enki Bilal, and 'Catwoman' by Pitof. StoryViz 1.0 is also available from November 2004.

REALVIZ technology has also been used to create stunning visual effects in the following films, plus many more: 'Alien vs. Predator', 'King Arthur', 'The Life and Death of Peter Sellers', 'Troy', 'Van Helsing', 'The Last Samurai', 'Hellboy', 'Ella Enchanted', "Charlie's Angels 2: Full Throttle' , 'Underworld' & 'Un Long Dimanche De Fian硩lles' ('A Very Long Engagement') from director Jean-Pierre Jeunet ('Le Fabuleux destin d'Am鬩e Poulain') which opened in October 2004, starring Audrey Tautou.
