Photography has been added as a section to ShareCG.  Here's some info about this new section.

What kind of photographs should I upload?

Please upload digitally processed ARTISTIC photographs.  We will not post pictures of your family, pets, or friends unless of course they are done artistically and in good taste.  We want our viewers to experience high quality work.

We monitor all uploads and won't publish photographs that include sexual acts or that might be considered pornography.  This is not a commercial site, and as such will not accept photographic product or service commercials, unless they are done purely to illustrate the artistry of the presentation.

When uploading I can't find a tool or category check box that applies to my photograph.  What do I do?

Simply click the "Suggest new tools and categories" link on the upload page and let us know what you'd like us to add.  We will process your request within 24 hours during the work week; we typically respond within an hour.  We'll send you an email once the new tool or category check boxes have been added.

Do you allow 3D photographic image uploads?

Yes, and we encourage it.  You can upload analglyphs, ChromaDepth 3D images, or other 3D formats.

What type of files should I upload and what size can they be?

We accept a number of different file formats, but the preferred format is .jpg.  You should drop these as medium weight so your uploaded photo can be measured in KBs but not MBs.
