3-GIS to Exhibit and Present at the 2010 ESRI International User Conference

San Diego, California – July 7, 2010 - 3-GIS, a GIS product development and services company based in Decatur, Alabama will exhibit in Booth #2606 at the ESRI International User Conference. The conference will be held at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California from July 12-16, 2010.

During the exhibition, 3-GIS will demonstrate its Express Solution suite of products, an ArcGIS Server-based set of mapping tools that includes Network Express, a web-based editing, querying, plotting and reporting tool; Field Express Chameleon, a light field-based conformal application; and Express Conductor, the back office server component.

On Wednesday, July 14 at 10:15 a.m. in Room 30 A, Tommy Siniard, Chief Technical Officer for 3-GIS and Greg Connors, Senior GIS Manager from Level 3 Communications will co-present ‘Leveraging Mobile GIS to Enhance Telecommunications Network Management’. Siniard and Connors will discuss how Level 3 set up a geodatabase to accommodate data from multiple legacy systems of acquired telecoms. Then, they will discuss how Level 3 utilized ESRI and 3-GIS mobile technology to capture and correct the fiber data, giving field technicians a user-friendly tool that could easily sync with the GIS system Level 3 had in place.
