Apfelberg previously led all marketing for Yammer, a market and technology leader in Enterprise Social Networking. His responsibilities at Yammer included public and analyst relations, corporate, product, field and customer marketing, demand generation, and business development.

His previous experience includes the role of senior director of product marketing and product management at Siebel Systems, as well as roles at Remedy and Oracle.
