Lorena Larson, former Altium and Mentor Graphics sales rep, to manage client relations in Southern California

MONROVIA, California – June 22, 2011 – Tanner EDA, the catalyst for innovation for the design, layout and verification of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs), has hired electronic design automation (EDA) sales professional Lorena (Lori) Larson as an account manager. Ms. Larson, who reports directly to Hamed Emami, Tanner EDA’s vice president of worldwide sales, will manage southern California accounts.

“Lori is a highly effective and well respected account manager with proven track record in technology and EDA companies,” said Emami. “Her ability to work at both the strategic and tactical level of client relationship management makes her an excellent addition to our Tanner EDA sales team.”

Lorena Larson has been working in high technology sales and account management since 1999.  After working at the Integrated Technologies Laboratory of UC San Diego while completing her college degree, Lorena joined Altium as a sales engineer and technical consultant.  She subsequently held a regional sales manager position at Mentor Graphics.

“This is an exciting time to be joining the Tanner EDA team,” said Larson. “The productivity and price-performance offered by HiPer Silicon – Tanner’s full flow analog IC design suite – are well-matched to the needs of engineers.  I look forward to working with customers to help them understand and benefit from the Tanner EDA approach to accelerating analog design.”
