MGGP Aero selects Z/I DMC II 230 Digital Camera System

(Aalen/Germany,Tarnow/Poland), 11 July 2011) – Z/I Imaging is pleased to announce a further sale of the newly launched 230 MegaPixel Z/I DMC II 230 Digital Camera System. MGGP Aero was one of the DMC first generation launch customers in Eastern Europe and started operating the system already in June 2007. Since that time the Z/I DMC already captured more than 150.000 images.

The outstanding Z/I DMC II system design utilizing one single monolithic pan camera head and the largest frame CCD sensor in the market is a greatly demanded major innovation step.

“It´s impressive to see the exceptional value the latest Z/I DMC sensor technology is adding to MGGP Aero´s production line”, says Dr. Hartmut Rosengarten, Director Hexagon Geosystems’ Airborne Sensors EMEA, the division that represents Airborne Sensor Technology of Z/I Imaging and Leica Geosystems.

“We have collected a very good experience with our first Z/I DMC System and that makes unquestionable the fact that the new state-of-the-art Z/I DMC II is the best possible choice we have made recently. The best image quality with highest geometric accuracy allows us to provide a wide range of aerial mapping services”, says Jacek Siedlik, Chief Executive Officer of MGGP Aero.
