New Canon PowerShot Cameras, Camcorders and Printers Announced at CES 2016, Now Available for Preorder at Adorama

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- Jan 07, 2016 -- Adorama, one of the world's largest photography, video, audio, imaging and electronics retailers, is now accepting preorders for the CES 2016 unveiling of Canon digital imaging accessories, including the Canon PowerShot ELPH 180, PowerShot ELPH 190 IS, PowerShot ELPH 360 HS ( purple and silver), PowerShot SX420 IS and PowerShot SX540 HS digital compact cameras; the Vixia HF G40, Vixia HF R70, Vixia HF R72 and Vixia HF R700 ( white and black) digital camcorders; and the Selphy CP1200 wireless photo printer.

Overhauling its consumer compact digital camera lineup with five new cameras, the new Canon PowerShot models are equipped with 20-megapixel sensors and feature zoom ranges that start at 8x and go up to 50x. The four new Vixia 1080/60p HD camcorders range from budget-friendly to feature-rich models and include five cinema-look filter effects that can be applied either during or after shooting, as well as intelligent IS, which automatically chooses from four modes to optimize image stabilization depending on shooting conditions. Also new at CES, the Canon Selphy CP1200 is a dye-sublimation printer that lets users print wirelessly from an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch via AirPrint and Wi-Fi, using a self-contained ink and paper kit in 13, 36 or 54-print capacities and print sizes up to 4x6 inches.
