Actualy newwer is not allways better, while the new scopes are smaller, the older ones have a better range and pickup lower light levels, so many units still use the older scopes, and there are allways the national guard units, which are lucky if they have stuff from ww2 in many cases.

Gaelmin is right, there is actually a starlight scope like this and it used to be normally mounted on the m16a1s/car15s by SEALs and LRRPs during the vietnam era. What makes this different is the fact that it is mounted on an M4, rather than where it is normally seen on. M4 is a newer version and the starlight scope used is pretty old especially since there are smaller versions already. All in all

nope. the parts may be factual. but you cant put a dirty great big site like that there on an automatic weapon. its too far back. you would lose an eye. and the front grip is just stuck on. with what, super glue?

i dunno... the gun may be factually inacurate, but I think it looks pretty good overall. I'd give it a 4/5.

poorly researched model. (sight is too big, positioned too far back, and on the wrong gun) the modelling lacks good form. looks like it was drawn out with thew line tool, then extruded out, with minimal effort given to smoothing off the edges. (handle, stock) the texture is pretty bad. looks like the whole thing was painted with gloopy fake chrome paint.
