What it is: ------------ It's a woven straw hat sometimes called a 'bird's nest' hat. It's a fairly simple design made of woven straw and probably is thousands of years old, but is most closely associated today with characters like 'Huck Finn." It doesn't stand up well in extreme close-up, but should do alright for most purposes. What you can do with it: ------------------------ 1) You're free to use this model in any render, non-commericial or commercial. 2) You may not sell the model itself, either individually or as part of a compilation. 3) If you re-post this model on your website or as part of a free compilation, the archive must include this readme file. How to use it: -------------- extract this archive to your Poser runtime directory. The files will fall into the following directories: The prop will appear under Runtime:Libraries:Props:birds_nest_hat After you've installed the files, open Poser. Load a character, then load the hat. It is already smart-propped to the head, but you will have to adjust the translation and scale dials until it sits properly on your character's head. Re-save the prop to the library after you've adjusted it, and viola! You now have a library entry for your particular character.
