Simple backdrop plane with three snowy scenes. The backdrop is a simple plane with slightly curved edges and a pretty high poly count (for a flat plane). The reason for this is so that bump and displacement maps can be applied and at least in the case of the displacement maps, actually do something. The snow scenes just seem to 'pop' when there's a little bump and/or displacement added. The plane is proportioned to fit the images (they are 3600 x 2400) and come into DS at about 24'w x 16'h. The three scenic backgrounds are set up as DS Material Presets, and are in the Content:Materials:mjc folder. They have bump and a specularity map applied (without the spec map, the snow just blows out the image, at all but 'negative' lighting...and even then it's not that great) The bump can be moved to the displacement channel, if desired The photos used were taken by me, this morning (Dec. 9, 2011). « Less
