Briney, I could tell a story about riding a Southern Airways DC-3 from Meridian, MS to Atlanta, GA in the winter of 1964, and catching a ride from Atlanta to New Jersey in an Air Force C-47 (I was in the Army). From plush to spartan; from below the clouds to above the clouds in one afternoon!

Okay, I've got to tell you this - about two years ago, I paid $45 for a model of this same aircraft - and it wasn't nearly as good or detailed as this one that you're GIVING AWAY for FREE.

The generosity of this community blows me away...may the forces of Karma reward you richly.

Ahhh- such stories I could tell about Dragon Ships, as we called the AC-47 back in the day....
Thank you, Neil!

I'll bet putting this together kept you busy.
It is a terrific piece of work and I am rendering the dc-3 TWA already. The warbirds are more my thing but much thanks for the civilian options you have added here. Those old liveries really speak of less hectic, more agreeable times, when the prospect of travel by flight still held people in awe and wonder.
Thanks for this marvelous set.

Another beauty from Neil, I especially like the AC-47 option.
