Thank you so very,very much! I've been struggling all afternoon to get a shadow catcher working in 3Dlight. Then I go to ShareCG and there it is! Works perfectly out of the box. Thanks again!

Hi aalexi, this shadow catcher was made before Iray was added to DAZ Studio...
...The Iray renderer has a shadow catcher built into it - in the render settings, switch ground on and it will cast shadows as if on ground.

WOW - Works wonderfully - did install,ran it with a deep shadow map, rendered and post-worked in less than 5 minutes!!!I Must try to deform the base to simulate curved terrain! Thank you so much!!!

Oh, I'm fairly certain everything's included... obviously at least one light source needs to have shadows turned on.

If it's still not working after trying with included shadow catcher plane or the shader applied directly onto a plane of your own, give me a shout and I'll repackage & reupload (fingers crossed it works next time because I can't see anything more …

this will NOT work with any kind of Uber lights. It actually works best with only one light source and you might need raytraced shadows.

I dl'd it and can't seem to get it to work, I'm thinking I'll watch the video to see what I'm maybe doing wrong, but other than that, I'm lost.
