These are a series of images that Teresa and I took in Utah in June of 2013.  While the photos are free to re-use in commercial or private images, the copyrights remain vested in Teresa Lorden and John Whiting.  They are not yours, so don't claim they are yours, and don't try to sell them.

Utah can be an alien-looking piece of Earth, so I thought to use them as alien backgrounds for my renders.  As such, some of the images have been processed to remove signs of human habitation.  Or you can use them as images of Utah before the paved roads came in.  Still, you might want paved roads and fences, so the unprocessed images are included as well.

I didn't give the skies or soil or vegetation any alien colorations; I figured that I could never anticipate all of the variations you might want or need, so I limited my modifications to removing man-made artifacts and left the images otherwise untouched.

I am not particularly practiced at image modification, so any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, just don't make me cry.  (Thank you, Ben Margolis, for some of the suggestions you already offered.)

Oh, and there are no warrantees or tech-support with these images, either.
