This video is in response to a user on the Shapeways 3d Design forum, who wanted to know how the techniques used in my Floral Star Ball tutorial for 3dsmax would translate to Blender. If you haven't seen the 3dsmax version of this project, you can find it in my channel here:

The process used in 3dsmax is very similar, and both packages make use of various polygonal modeling techniques to create this aesthetically pleasing shape, which can be 3d printed, or used in any 3d scene as a sculpture prop, or jewelry item for a character. « Less
