(As with all my scripts these were written mainly for my own use. To the best of my knowledge they work correctly, but as always you use them at your own risk)
In order for the Poser Smart+ Props Stuff Release 3 Core to be able to put a hand-held prop into either hand of any supported figure it needs a short HANDPROXYDATA dataline for that prop. Here's an example:
Uzilite Gun,56609,hd_Gun,OD_Gun,OD_Gun,hd_Gun, hd_Gun_56609,0.0,76.0,0.0,0.0,-0.0227,-0.016
The scripts in this package will help you to create such a dataline for any hand-held prop from within Poser.
This is an interim version of the Poser Smart+ prop helper scripts for anybody who wants to give them a try. The dataline produced will probably need some manual editing before being manually added into your 'SmartPlusData.txt' file. I am still working to try and remove the need for any manual editing.
These Rel3 Ver1 scripts are basically the Release 3 Beta scripts modified to create the PROPER (post-beta) release 3 dataline format used by the Poser Smart+ Props Stuff Release 3 Core and DAZ Studio Smart+ Props Stuff Release 3 Core.
N.B. In order to run PoserPython scripts via pose files you MUST have a figure in your scene. If you don't then the pose files will do NOTHING.
I've added an 'Info' script that simply displays an overview of the procedure, and I've added scripts for the purely manual steps (2 and 4) that simply display some reminders about what to do at that step.
