CapnKlutz I have finished converting the body of the Blond in Daz 4.12 G8F but the hair is a problem, 4.12 will not allow me to fit the hair to the head like it did in 4.5. I have to find my original hair and see if it will allow me to turn it into hair not just an .obj Problem is I think it was on the hard drive that turn into a brick.

Morphing & texturing look great. I would encourage you to work more with G8F. She is a much more versatile base than the earlier iterations. :)

I am in the process of reskinning G8F to this model. It is a very laborious process of using Photoshop to take the old skin wrap form and updating it to the very different wrap form of G8F. Matching the nipples, belly button, woo woo, and all the seams to the same color and new wrap form. Making the face conform to the G8F wrap form. more …

Actually I have no problem adding the textures to the genesis figure (Blond-Squid4).
I just can't get the shape. (Morphs)
I can get everything to work great on the (Blond-Squid-Hair) figure but she is like a Statue, can't pose her or anything. But she is beautiful.

I downloaded DAZ 4.12, my first reaction, I hate it. Just like with 4.6 they took out all the good features. 4.5 has a very nice directory tree system, you can change every part of Genesis, eye lashes, eye color, skin on all parts and there is only one Genesis. It seems they took all that out. When I found one and only one way to put the skin on, it did not fit. The nipples were up by the collar more …

I think that is the problem. I don't have those files, that is why she acts like a prop for me. I suppose.

You can still find DAZ 4.5 for download, then put it on another computer (I think I had 4.5 and 4.6 on an older computer, I did not like 4.6 it was going backward in progress, I put them in different directories). Be careful where you download it from although. Maybe:

Since you are using DAZ 4.12 it may be compatibility issues. If you don't have Victoria 4 & 5 and all the associated morphs ect. Hello Utisz, I just played around with it, I put the unzipped file on a USB (stick) pin drive. Then I opened Blond-Squid4.duf, when it asked for BlondLimbs.jpg I directed it to the map directory on the USB drive, and it loaded the rest and she moves in poses, and the hair does as well. Hope that works. Then save her as a scene. Better drop the Maps directory in Runtime Texture rename as more …

Hello Utisz, If you are working with DAZ (4.5) it should ask you to find the missing pieces (or in my case it all just came up), they should all be there in Maps directory. Then parent the hair to the head Mesh (click on hair then left click on the hair, click Change Blond-Squid-hair parent, pick mesh-000? not sure which) and it should move with her. If need be, you can go into Surfaces (color) more …

I downloaded the file.
When loading the file "Blond-Squid4". There are a lot of missing files being reported.
Could not get it to work.
The textures do work on a Genesis Figure.
The File "Blond-Squid-Hair" loads a beautiful girl with hair but it is just a "Prop", can't pose it or anything.
However, the prop is beautiful so all the more reason to want more …

I uploaded a smaller file, not sure it works. And I took out the analyse, because I don't think anyone is responding to this site anymore. A model was taken down automatically, I made a complaint and no response.

I don't think anyone's gonna look at that file. Sharecg is known for not doing huge uploads. It's better to split the file or offer it via dropbox and show the link here.
