so, I saw a japanese animation about 10 years ago , around 2006...the story begins with a child, traveling with his mother, but suddenly, a bunch of thieves, attack the caravan and kill the mother, in front of the child, thaw was hiding from the thieves.
the child grows up, become a professional killer. I remember a scene, he strangled a man with chain! but I can't remember the rest, also I remember the end. he goes in to a snowy jungle to save a girl but the girls die to seve his life.
I must say that the story is happening in old times and everyone fights with swords.
