I just still can`t believe: two days ago I received a message about copyright violation by ShareCG, wherein I had been accused by a vendor named "5starModels", to have had stolen his item (my free tower crane.obj !). As David, of course, as a precaution had removed my crane from my DL site here and submitted me the email adress of that vendor for clearance, I found this:

This criminal robbbed my model, sells it in at least two online shops for 45 Dollars, even has the audacity to leave my original w.i.p. screenshot from within Carrara and my preview images with the model, and -that`s best of all- accuses me to be the thief!

When I sent an according message to the admin of that shop, with some links to my stuff, some screens and the like for clearing (My crane has been uploaded somewhen in summer 2008 - his robbery in that shop in 2010 / 2011) I found hours later my crane model removed from Renderosity and DAZ 3D freestuff area, too.
Just trying to find out what is going on there...
How to handle that situation? That is kinda attack!!
That guy is obviously eager to eliminate all my evidence. It cannot be right to let someone sell a 4 years old freebie for money, neither to claim someone else`s work for his own and not at all to be successfull in completely kicking off the legal copyright owner!

Hi Spacebones --- Having not received a reply from 5starmodels and after reading your post I reinstated your Tower Crane model today.  Tomorrow I'll work with Engineering to remove this person from the site.

I'm sorry that you had to go through all this angst and thank you for hanging in there until we could get to the bottom of this messy situation.
