I got diamond earrings, necklace that says 'best mom', Sketcher shoes, funky little jacket, and a gift card to a restuarant that isn't even in our area! What'd ya'll get? P

We haven´t christmas this year. I think If we get our house in the next three month, then we have christmas. But I wish you also a fine new year!

Boy I'm glad I went to bed and slept peacefully before I replied.  I got clothes from mom which I needed. (I've gotten fat) <sigh> A new DVD player and a $50 gift card for the movie theatre from my brother and money from Grandma and one aunt and uncle, a HUGE chocolate cake from my cousin and mom found my lost digital camera that's been missing for three months yesterday. My husband got me a miter saw, so now I can build a new cage for my boa constrictor! And my daughter got me three DVDs Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, History of the World Part I and American History X

OMG I hope you were good to your hubby Draagon......I would have loved to gotten tools (mine keeps his at work) so I could redo our closet. Question for those who got cool stuff they probably asked for.....how'd you get your spouse to listen? Mine for 17 yrs has refused to listen to what I wanted for gifts. I mean he gets me good quality stuff.....but just not the stuff I want.

Oh, he got exactly what he asked for, and then somethings he didn't expect, but I knew he wanted!.... As for listening.. I make sure I listen to him to figure out what he wants... I always think it's a hoot that I get tools. Especially when I see commercials that make it look like 'The worst gift you can get your wife!'. One thing I do when those commercials come on, is make a big deal over the fact that they don't reflect on ME! Maybe you husband is being brainwashed by those commercials... Make sure he knows YOU WOULD REALLLY LIKE TO THOSE TOOLS, instead of that necklace or some such thing. DraagonStorm

dadchamp.... I come with more baggage then you want! Its not so much that he's brainwashed by the powertools turn women off commercials as it is the aaaawwww wwoooooo jewelry commercials. Sad thing is....he knows I'm more tomboy than girl! LOL...... And he did get what he wanted! He got new 4-wheeler tires and the new Metal of Army game......oh and bowling....

Panthia This may be a bit too extreme of a hint ...... You could always take the jewerly down to the pawn shop and trade them in on power tools .....  Not to sure how bad feelings might be hurt on that one? (just kidding, but not completely) DraagonStorm

What you do is have paste replicas made of the originals and then trade in the originals for the power tools. Most guys can never tell the dif between a real diamond and cubic zirconium.
