Loading lights from the library deletes all lights and all animation for the lights that was there before, and inserts new lights from the library.  I have tried it with it with saving out only one frame, and saving out a range of frames, but nothing helped. 

There is also an option for clicking "select" on the library palette, but this inserts new light on separated animation channels.  So if I had 4 lights before now I have 8 lights.
