February 14, 2012 -- (Harrisburg, Pa.) GeoDecisions®, an information technology company specializing in geospatial solutions, is pleased to announce that
Nathan M. Reck has been named a director. In this role, Reck is responsible for leading technical staff on projects, standard practices, and the technology direction of GeoDecisions. Reck also serves as the transportation technical lead on the Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) Console initiatives and various other projects.
Previously, Reck served as a technical architect working with transportation clients throughout the U.S. He has been instrumental in designing many notable systems, including the HPMS consoles at the West Virginia Department of Transportation and the District Department of Transportation. He also helped to develop the Road Condition Reporting System (RCRS) and Roadside Spray Management Application (RoSA) at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, as well as several geographic information system (GIS) portals and VideoLog Viewers.
Reck possesses more than 11 years of transportation experience in the fields of safety/crash management, maintenance and operations management, planning, and GIS. He holds a bachelor of arts in geography with a minor in business administration from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Reck is a resident of Dillsburg, Pa.
