20th March 2012 - Spheron-VR AG, known globally as pioneers in HDR (High Dynamic Range) capture device technology and experts in precision engineered equipment & imaging optics, are today pleased to reveal that its customer Double Negative, the award-winning visual effects and animation company, have successfully utilized the Spheron HDR Camera technology in their latest VFX production, for the film John Carter.
This latest Disney production – John Carter is a film directed by Academy Award® winning filmmaker Andrew Stanton. Based on a classic novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs, it’s a sci-fi action-adventure set on the mysterious planet of Barsoom (Mars).
