Assurance provided by CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — May 15, 2012 — Computer Guidance Corporation, the leading developer of construction financial and project management software solutions for architecture, engineering and construction companies, today announced the successful completion of a Service Organization Controls attestation engagement that provides assurance that controls specific to managed hosted services were suitably designed and operated effectively during the period from July 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011. The engagement was performed based on the Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16 (SSAE 16), as defined by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Audit. SSAE 16 replaced the Statement of Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS 70) as of June 15, 2011.

The completion of the SOC engagement resulted in the issuance of an unqualified opinion by the audit firm, CliftonLarsonAllen LLP as of April 2012. The auditors’ opinion provides assurance to users of Computer Guidance Corporation’s Hosted eCMS Solution that, as a result of rigorous testing, controls related to the security and availability of systems and protection of data were in compliance with design for the engagement period based on control objectives defined by management.

“As customers contract with Computer Guidance Corporation for its Hosted eCMS solution and services, they can be confident that controls described within the report are accurately depicted and were operating as represented during the engagement period,” stated Mark Eich, Partner In Charge of Information Security Services, CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP. “Several processes and procedures have been implemented by Computer Guidance to proactively manage the technical environment that hosts the eCMS system, including the relationship with Avnet.”

“This accomplishment demonstrates our commitment to conform to best practices in support of our customers’ needs,” stated Roger D. Kirk, President/CEO, Computer Guidance Corporation. “We will continue making such investments such as The SAS70 Type II Audit and now the SSAE No. 16 Audit to assure that our solutions and customer service offerings are backed by sound business processes, effective internal controls and high standards of data security.”
