BUFFALO, NY…ISSUED SEPTEMBER 16, 2013… GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., a leading environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, announces that Bart Klettke of Lewiston, NY has been promoted to Principal, operating from the Buffalo, NY office.

 Klettke, the Buffalo District Office Manager, has been with GZA since 1987, starting his career with the firm as a Project Engineer. He has more than 25 years of experience in the permitting, design and development of construction contract documents and construction oversight of solid waste management facilities and site civil projects. In his role as District Office Manager, Klettke maintains overall responsibility for contracting, project budgeting and scheduling of office and field staff activities for the Buffalo office operation.

Klettke received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Valparaiso University. He is a Professional Engineer registered in New York State, a designation he has held since 1992. Klettke holds membership in the Engineering Society of Buffalo, American Council of Engineering Companies, New York Association for Solid Waste Management and the New York Society of Professional Engineers.

In 2009, he presented “Turning a Brownfield into a Green Space” regarding the development of the Allied Waste Niagara Falls Landfill, at the 24th International Conference on Solid Waste Technology and Management in Philadelphia.
