OCT 4: Valve Manufacturers Association to Release Industry Employment Snapshot during Press Breakfast at 75th Anniversary Annual Meeting

 

WHAT            

The Valve Manufacturers Association (VMA) will be hosting a press breakfast to unveil and discuss new member research that provides a snapshot about industry employment.  The breakfast takes place during VMA’s Annual Meeting—the premier gathering of valve and actuator industry leaders in North America being held from October 3-5.  During the breakfast briefing, experts will also discuss new trends affecting the economic outlook and impact of the valve industry. The briefing is part of VMA’s 75th Anniversary efforts, as it marks its important role in strengthening an industry that is the backbone for so any others.

Founded in 1938, the Washington, DC-based Valve Manufacturers Association exclusively represents nearly 100 North American manufacturers of valves, actuators and controls, which account for about 80% of total industrial valve shipments out of U.S. and Canadian facilities, as well as suppliers to the industry and distributors/channel partners.  VMA is celebrating its 75th anniversary, helping keep a flagship industry growing and competitive. Today, membership in VMA is recognized as the “seal of approval.”
