The project, scheduled for completion in early 2014, is located at the corner of Fore and Union streets in the heart of the historic Old Port, in Portland, ME. The design for the new mixed-use development – including a seven-story, 130-room hotel and 1,000 feet of retail space – is a convergence of the area’s historical legacy and contemporary flair.
Navigating a number of historic district guidelines while upholding green-building design standards, InterSpec Specification Services provided Canal 5 Studio with the expertise they needed, authoring a well structured and coordinated project manual.
